My Robotics projects

Platform: LEGO® Education Spike Prime

Using single or dual color sensors to handle zigzag and P-Tracking line tracing.

Refining robot movements using precise square adjustments

Hoop shooting mission

In one of the mission projects, I designed and build a shooting automation using active and trigger release mechanism to launch the hoop shooting mission. I spent quite some time troubleshooting to make precise alignment on the movement and eventually managed to get it launch perfectly! I am so happy I did not give up!

Fundamental robot movements with one way lock to capture the colour blocks to return to base.

Single gripper claw arm

In this robot system I designed a gripper claw arm with a large servo motor to grab and secure the first yellow block, transferring the green block to its designated station first, followed by the yellow block to its station. Design of the robot was inspired by an animal- the Moose with huge antlers!

Sensor integration – Distance, Force, Colour and Light

In this mission i designed and built the racing car from scratch using Power & Speed Gearing system. I programmed the color sensor to command  movement of the race car to reverse, stop, turn right/left with multiple color blocks.

Automated sorting/dispensing system

The sorting/dispensing system was built with the spike prime hub and motorized mechanism connected by beams and axles to detect and hold blocks in the container and a side sensor to detect loading level in the container.
